| Abstract: |
The bachelor thesis is focused on sustainable transportation in the pharmaceutical industry. The aim is to illustrate the current problems pharmaceutical companies face due to increasing demand for ecological and sustainable transportation of materials and final products and maintaining sustainable supplier-customer relations. In order to address the problems, I will provide solutions to these issues with hope that they can be implemented by pharmaceutical companies. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part includes theory and terminology regarding sustainability, supply chain management, transportation and pharmaceutical industry. The second one consists of a case study in which were conducted interviews with employees of a pharmaceutical company and a logistics company. Based on this data, I was able to evaluate the case study and propose solutions for implementing sustainability in transportation within the pharmaceutical industry. |

Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na udržateľnejšiu prepravu materiálov a tovarov vo farmaceutickom priemysle. Cieľom práce je poukázať na súčasné problémy, ktoré musia farmaceutické firmy riešiť v dôsledku vyššieho tlaku na ekologickejšiu a udržateľnejšiu prepravu materiálov a produktov a udržateľných dodávateľsko-odberateľských vzťahov. Vzhľadom na tieto problémy som sa zamerala na hľadanie riešení, ktoré by mohli farmaceutické firmy aplikovať. Práca je rozdelená do dvoch hlavných častí. Na základe odbornej literatúry sa v prvej časti nachádza teória a terminológia týkajúca sa udržateľnosti, udržateľného manažmentu dodávateľského reťazca, udržateľnejšej prepravy a farmaceutického priemyslu. Druhá časť obsahuje prípadovú štúdiu, v ktorej boli zhotovené rozhovory so zamestnancami jednej farmaceutickej a jednej špedičnej firmy. Na základe týchto dát som navrhla riešenia, ktoré môžu farmaceutické firmy implementovať. |
