Bakalářská práce se zabývá automobilovým sektorem a dopady na odvětví, které vyvolalo vystoupení Spojeného království Velké Británie a Severního Irska z Evropské unie. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, jaké dopady měl Brexit na britský automobilový průmysl. Práce má rovněž podcíl, a to zhodnocení dopadů na společnost Rolls–Royce. V první kapitole je stručně popsáno postavení automobilového sektoru v rámci ekonomiky Spojeného království, dále je představen stav automobilového průmyslu před Brexitem a nejvýznamnější britské automobilové společnosti. Kapitola se rovněž věnuje obchodnímu propojení britského automobilového průmyslu s Evropskou unií. Druhá kapitola se zabývá dopady Brexitu na automobilový sektor, které jsou hodnoceny pomocí změn následujících makroekonomických ukazatelů – podíl sektoru na GVA, počet zaměstnanců v sektoru, objem výroby v odvětví, export a import. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na společnost Rolls–Royce, její postavení na trhu a dopady Brexitu na počet zaměstnanců společnosti, objem výroby a změny v exportu. Analyzovány jsou rovněž změny finančních výsledků. |

| Abstract: |
The bachelor thesis deals with the automotive sector and the impact on the industry caused by the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union. The main aim of the thesis is to find out what impact Brexit has had on the UK automotive industry. The thesis also has a sub-objective, namely to assess the impact on Rolls-Royce. The first chapter briefly describes the position of the automotive sector within the UK economy, then the state of the automotive industry prior to Brexit and the major UK automotive companies are introduced. The chapter also examines the trade links between the UK automotive industry and the European Union. The second chapter examines the impact of Brexit on the automotive sector, which is assessed through changes in the following macroeconomic indicators - the sector's share of GVA, the number of employees in the sector, the sector's output, exports and imports. The third chapter focuses on Rolls-Royce, its market position and the impact of Brexit on the number of employees in the company, production volume and changes in exports. Changes in financial performance are also analysed. |
