Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi prodloužení délky pobytu návštěvníků v Žatci. Vzhledem k zápisu památky Žatec a krajina žateckého chmele na Seznam světového dědictví UNESCO dochází v destinaci k růstu návštěvnosti, přičemž převahu tvoří jednodenní návštěvy. Tento trend snižuje ekonomické přínosy cestovního ruchu a z hlediska dlouhodobého rozvoje destinace není udržitelný. Hlavním cílem práce je navrhnout dvoudenní itineráře přizpůsobené vybraným cílovým skupinám návštěvníků, které by je motivovaly k delšímu pobytu a tím přispěly k udržitelnému rozvoji cestovního ruchu. Součástí práce je také dotazníkové šetření mezi návštěvníky Žatce, jehož cílem bylo zjistit jejich vnímání destinace, povědomí o statutu UNESCO, spokojenost s nabízenými službami a zájem o využití předem připravených itinerářů. Navržené itineráře poskytují podklad pro zlepšení prezentace turistické nabídky v Žatci a okolí. Na základě zjištění z dotazníkového šetření práce představuje také možnosti podpory cestovního ruchu ve městě i mimo hlavní turistickou sezónu. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis explores possibilities for extending the length of stay of visitors in the town of Žatec. Following the inscription of the heritage site Žatec and the Landscape of Saaz Hops on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the destination has experienced an increase in tourist numbers, with one-day visitors prevailing. This trend limits the economic benefits of tourism and is unsustainable for long-term destination development. The main objective of the thesis is to propose two-day itineraries tailored to selected target groups of visitors, with the aim of encouraging them to stay longer and thus contribute to the sustainable development of tourism in the area. The thesis also includes a questionnaire survey among visitors to Žatec, which focuses on their perception of the destination, awareness of the UNESCO status, satisfaction with available services, and interest in using pre-designed itineraries. The proposed itineraries serve as a basis for improving the presentation of the tourism offer in Žatec and its surroundings. Based on the survey results, the thesis also suggests ways to promote off-season tourism. |
