Data Visualization Tools – Selection and Implementation in an Import Company

Data visualization tools currently represent a key element of digital transformation in businesses, as they facilitate data handling and make information accessible even to non - technical users. This thesis focuses on the selection and implementation of a suitable visualization tool within an import company, where a low ability among employees to work effectively with company data was identified. The work includes an analysis of the company's needs and a comparison of three tools: Power BI, Tableau, and GIST Intelligence, using a multi-criteria evaluation method. The selected tool was subsequently applied to the area of cash flow management, chosen due to its high importance at the time of writing. The author also proposed a custom methodology for dashboard planning and content design, based on best practices, which provides a clear structure for planning and executing project outputs.
