Economic diplomacy of Madagascar

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the economic diplomacy of Madagascar. The aim is to evaluate the economic and diplomatic situation of this island as well as its trade, diplomatic, and economic relations with the rest of the world. Madagascar is not only rich in its natural diversity, but also has long-term economic, political, and structural problems. The thesis is based primarily on qualitative sources. The findings are used to provide insight into the current situation in Madagascar, and at the same time, are used to propose an approach to entering the Malagasy market, which could also contribute to supporting the local population. The results of the work show that economic diplomacy plays an significant role in the functioning of Madagascar because its dependence on foreign aid is very high, especially in the trade and financial spheres. Emphasis is also placed on the development of infrastructure and international relations to strengthen Madagascar's position not only on a regional scale but also globally.
