Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na strategickou komunikaci Severoatlantické aliance v rámci její klíčové bezpečnostní strategie odstrašení během prvního roku války na Ukrajině, tedy v období od 24. února 2022. Prostřednictvím diskurzivní analýzy tato práce zkoumá, jaké strategické narativy NATO využívá ke komunikaci odstrašení vůči Rusku, které je v současnosti vnímáno jako největší bezpečnostní hrozba pro NATO. Teoretický rámec funkčně propojuje teorii odstrašení se strategickou komunikací. Dále práce identifikuje hlavní tematické okruhy narativu NATO, které jsou prezentovány jako základní prvky jeho bezpečnostní strategie a diskutuje jejich význam. Práce tak přispívá k lepšímu porozumění současné strategické komunikaci NATO a jejímu významu v rámci jeho kolektivní obrany a mezinárodní bezpečnosti. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor thesis focuses on the strategic communication of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization as part of its key security deterrence strategy during the first year of the war in Ukraine, from 24 February 2022. Through discursive analysis, this thesis examines what strategic narratives NATO uses to communicate deterrence towards Russia, which is currently perceived as the greatest security threat to NATO. The theoretical framework functionally links deterrence theory with strategic communication. Furthermore, the thesis identifies the main themes of NATO's narrative that are presented as the core elements of its security strategy and discusses their significance. In doing so, the thesis contributes to a better understanding of NATO's contemporary strategic communication and its relevance within its collective defence and international security. |
