Cílem této práce je zjistit význam Sárska nejen v rámci celkového zahraničního obchodu Spolkové republiky Německo, ale také porovnat ho s ostatními spolkovými zeměmi. Tato práce je rozdělena do pěti hlavních kapitol. První kapitola je věnována detailnějšímu popisu spolkové země Sársko. Druhá kapitola poskytuje přehled o ekonomické situaci Sárska. Ve třetí kapitole je analyzován zahraniční obchod tohoto regionu, dále je zde určen podíl této spolkové země na zahraničním obchodu Spolkové republiky Německo a v závěru této kapitoly je provedeno porovnání Sárska s ostatními spolkovými zeměmi Německa z hlediska zahraničního obchodu. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou představeny nejvýznamnější společnosti v Sársku a jejich role v zahraničním obchodu. Závěrečná pátá kapitola obsahuje základní informace o podnikatelském prostředí tohoto regionu. Na základě analýzy zahraničního obchodu a dostupných informací o této spolkové zemi bylo zjištěno, že ačkoliv Sársko nepatří mezi ekonomicky nejsilnější spolkové země a jeho podíl na celkovém německém zahraničním obchodu je relativně nízký, jedná se o výkonný region, jehož potenciál je do značné míry limitován jeho menší rozlohou. |

| Abstract: |
The aim of this thesis is to identify the significance of Saarland not only in the overall international trade of the Federal Republic of Germany, but also to compare it with other federal states. This thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter is devoted to a detailed description of the Federal State of Saarland. The second chapter provides an overview of the economic situation of Saarland. The third chapter analyses the international trade of this region, then the share of this federal state in the international trade of the Federal Republic of Germany is determined, and at the end of this chapter, a comparison of Saarland with other German states in terms of international trade is made. The fourth chapter presents the most important companies in Saarland and their role in international trade. The fifth chapter outlines basic information on the business environment of the region. Based on the analysis of international trade and available information about this federal state, it was found that although Saarland is not among the economically strongest federal states and its share in Germany’s overall international trade is relatively low, it is an efficient region whose potential is largely limited by its small geographical size. |
