Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem generace Z k plýtvání potravinami v Česku a Německu. Hlavním cílem práce bylo na základě na základě literární rešerše a vlastního výzkumu identifikovat a porovnat vztah generace Z k plýtvání potravinami v Česku a Německu. V literární rešerši byla popsána generace Z, problematika potravinového odpadu a aplikace teorie plánovaného chování na generaci Z a na oblast plýtvání potravinami. Výzkumná část je založena na kombinaci kvantitativního a kvalitativní šetření. Výsledky ukazují, že i když si generace Z uvědomuje důležitost udržitelnosti, její reálné chování je často ovlivněno bariérami, jako je pohodlnost nebo nedostatek informací. Při porovnání české a německé generace Z se ukázaly rozdíly v důrazu na ekonomické a ekologické stránky plýtvání. Na základě zjištění z literární rešerše a výzkumu byla navržena doporučení pro komunikaci plýtvání potravinami směrem ke generaci Z, například prostřednictvím influencerů, moderních technologií a zapojení tématu do vzdělávání. |

| Abstract: |
The thesis focuses on the relationship of Generation Z to food waste in the Czechia and Germany. The main aim of the thesis was to identify and compare the relationship of Generation Z towards food waste in Czechia and Germany based on a literature review and own research. The literature review describes Generation Z, the issue of food waste, and the application of the Theory of Planned Behavior to Generation Z and to food waste. The research part is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results show that although Generation Z is aware of the importance of sustainability, their actual behavior is often influenced by barriers such as convenience or a lack of information. When comparing Czech and German generation Z, differences emerged in the emphasis placed on food waste's economic and ecological aspects. Based on the literature review and research findings, recommendations were proposed for communicating about food waste towards Generation Z, for example, through influencers, modern technologies, and the inclusion of the topic in education. |
