Tato bakalářská práce hodnotí dopad sankcí Evropské unie na ropný a plynárenský sektor Ruské federace v letech 2022 a 2023, a to s ohledem na význam ropy a zemního plynu pro ruskou ekonomiku a změny v jejich obchodních tocích. Práce kombinuje teoretický rámec ekonomických sankcí s analytickým přístupem využívajícím statistická data, korelační koeficienty a lineární rovnice. Analýza ukazuje, že sankce vedly k zásadnímu přerušení tradičních exportních tras do EU, což přinutilo Ruskou federaci přesměrovat vývoz na asijské trhy. Přestože se tím podařilo zachovat objem vývozu, došlo ke snížení příjmů a nárůstu závislosti na méně stabilních trzích. Výsledky potvrzují, že sankce přispěly k proměně energetické obchodní politiky Ruska a ovlivnily globální trh s fosilními palivy. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor’s thesis evaluates the impact of European Union sanctions on the Russian Federation’s oil and gas sector in 2022 and 2023, with regard to the significance of oil and natural gas for the Russian economy and changes in their trade flows. The thesis combines a theoretical framework of economic sanctions with an analytical approach utilizing statistical data, correlation coefficients, and linear equations. The analysis shows that the sanctions led to a substantial disruption of traditional export routes to the EU, forcing the Russian Federation to redirect exports to Asian markets. Although export volumes were maintained, this resulted in decreased revenues and increased dependence on less stable markets. The results confirm that the sanctions contributed to a transformation of Russia’s energy trade policy and affected the global fossil fuel market. |
