| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zapojení žen na trhu práce v Maroku. Cílem práce je zmapovat specifika tohoto trhu se zaměřením na ženy a identifikovat hlavní překážky, které jejich ekonomickou účast omezují. Dílčím cílem je zhodnotit efektivitu vybraných opatření určených k překonávání těchto bariér. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola představuje teoretická východiska a faktory ovlivňující ekonomickou aktivitu žen. Druhá kapitola analyzuje postavení žen na marockém trhu práce z hlediska zaměstnanosti, nezaměstnanosti, sektorové struktury, historického vývoje, právního rámce, společenských norem a dopadů pandemie COVID-19. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na vybraná opatření a národní strategie přijaté v Maroku s cílem zvýšit ekonomickou participaci žen. Výsledky ukazují, že klíčovými překážkami jsou právní omezení, strukturální problémy trhu práce, kulturní normy, nerovné rozdělení neplacené péče a nedostatečná dostupnost služeb péče o děti. Přestože bylo v posledních letech přijato několik iniciativ na podporu zaměstnanosti žen, jejich efektivita zůstává často omezená. Práce proto zdůrazňuje nutnost komplexního přístupu kombinujícího legislativní, ekonomická a sociální opatření. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the issue of women’s participation in the labour market in Morocco. The main objective is to explore the specifics of the Moroccan labour market with a focus on women and to identify the key barriers limiting their economic participation. A secondary objective is to assess the effectiveness of selected measures aimed at overcoming these barriers. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical background and factors influencing women’s economic activity. The second chapter reviews the position of women in the Moroccan labour market in terms of employment, unemployment, sectoral structure, historical development, legal framework, social norms, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The third chapter focuses on selected measures and national strategies adopted in Morocco to promote women’s labour force participation. The findings show that the main obstacles include legal restrictions, structural problems of the labour market, cultural norms, the unequal distribution of unpaid care work, and insufficient availability of childcare services. Despite several initiatives to support women’s employment in recent years, their effectiveness often remains limited. The thesis therefore highlights the need for a comprehensive approach combining legislative, economic, and social measures. |
