Bakalářská práce se zaobírá vývojem energetických vztahů mezi Evropskou unií a Ruskem po roce 2014 se zaměřením na ropu a zemní plyn. Propojuje ekonomickou a geopolitickou perspektivu, přičemž využívá případovou studii o firmě Orlen Unipetrol, v níž je použit regresní model. Zjištění ukazují, že i přes snahu obou stran o diverzifikaci zůstává energetická provázanost silná. Případová studie pak ukazuje, že strategická rozhodnutí na makroúrovni mají přímý dopad na chování firem v klíčové infrastruktuře i přes fakt, že regresní analýza potvrzuje statisticky významný vliv dovozu ruské ropy na provozní ziskovost společnosti. |

| Abstract: |
The bachelor thesis focuses on the evolution of energy relations between the European Union and Russia since 2014, with a focus on oil and natural gas. It integrates economic and geopolitical perspectives and employs a case study of Orlen Unipetrol in which a regression model is applied. The findings demonstrate that, despite both parties’ efforts to diversify, energy interdependence remains strong. The case study further reveals that strategic decisions at the macro level directly impact the behavior of firms operating within the critical infrastructure, although the regression analysis confirms a statistically significant effect of Russian oil imports on the company’s operating profitability. |
