| Abstract: |
Cílem diplomové práce je kvantifikovat dopady zavedení systému MES (Manufacturing Execution System) na efektivitu výrobních procesů ve strojírenském podniku. Práce se zaměřuje na analýzu změn v časové náročnosti, přesnosti evidence výroby a dostupnosti informací pro rozhodovací procesy po implementaci MES. Výzkum byl realizován pomocí kombinace kvantitativních (měření časů, dotazníkové šetření mezi zaměstnanci) a kvalitativních metod (focus group s manažery). Výsledky ukázaly výrazné snížení administrativní zátěže, zvýšení přesnosti dat a zlepšení komunikace napříč odděleními. Celkově bylo potvrzeno, že zavedení systému MES přineslo jasné zvýšení produkti-vity a efektivity výrobních operací v podniku. |

| Abstract: |
The aim of this thesis is to quantify the impacts of implementing a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) on the efficiency of manufacturing processes in an engineering company. The thesis focuses on analyzing changes in time demands, the accuracy of production records, and the availability of information for decision-making processes following MES implementation. The research was conducted using a combination of quantitative methods (time measurements, employee surveys) and qualitative methods (focus group discussions with managers). The results demonstrated a significant reduction in administrative workload, increased data accuracy, and improved communication across departments. Overall, it was confirmed that the introduction of the MES system brought a clear increase in productivity and efficiency of manufacturing operations within the company. |
