Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopadem pandemie Covid-19 na pojišťovnictví v České republice. Cílem práce je identifikovat hlavní faktory, které pandemie ovlivnila, a zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem tyto faktory ovlivnily vývoj a strukturu předepsaného pojistného. Teoretická část vymezuje roli pojišťovnictví ve společnosti a analyzuje předchozí krizové události s dopadem na pojistný trh. Praktická část se zaměřuje na vybrané ekonomické ukazatele a jejich vztah k vývoji předepsaného pojistného v letech 2018 až 2023. Pomocí korelační analýzy a práce s časovými řadami bylo prokázáno, že úrokové sazby a mobilita měly v některých segmentech statisticky významný vliv, zatímco nezaměstnanost nikoliv. Změna celkové struktury pojistného portfolia však nebyla zásadní. Práce přináší přehled dopadů pandemie na pojišťovací sektor a poukazuje na jeho schopnost adaptace v době krize. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor’s thesis examines the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the insurance industry in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to identify the main factors influenced by the pandemic and determine whether and how these factors affected the development and structure of written premiums. The theoretical part outlines the role of insurance in society and analyzes past crisis events that impacted the insurance market. The practical part focuses on selected economic indicators – population mobility, interest rates, and unemployment – and their relationship to the development of written premiums between 2018 and 2023. Using correlation analysis and time series data, it was found that interest rates and mobility had a statistically significant impact in some segments, while unemployment did not. However, the overall structure of the insurance portfolio remained largely unchanged. The thesis provides an overview of the pandemic’s effects on the insurance sector and highlights its ability to adapt in times of crisis. |
