| Abstract: |
Diplomová práce se věnuje ochraně činčil ve volné přírodě, přičemž jejím hlavním cílem je tuto ochranu aktivně podpořit. Za tímto účelem byla podniknuta cesta do oblasti jejich přirozeného výskytu, kde byly provedeny pilotní rozhovory s experty, kteří se činčilám aktivně věnují. Na základě získaných informací došlo ke zhodnocení současného managementu ochrany a k identifikaci problémů, které je třeba řešit. Na-vazující dotazníkové šetření potvrdilo nízké povědomí o existenci činčil v zemi svého původu a provedený experiment naznačil podmíněnou ochotu veřejnosti podílet se na financování ochrany. V rámci komunitní práce byly na závěr identifikovány místní subjekty, které jsou ochotné se do ochrany činčil ve volné přírodě zapojit. |

| Abstract: |
The thesis is dedicated to the conservation of chinchillas in the wild. The main aim is to make an active contribution. To this end, a journey was undertaken to their natural range, where pilot interviews were conducted with experts who are actively involved with chinchillas. Based on the information gathered, an assessment of current conservation management was made and problems to be addressed were identified. A follow-up survey confirmed the low level of awareness of chinchillas in their country of origin. An experiment showed a certain willingness of the public to participate in funding conservation. Lastly, the community work identified local actors willing to collaborate in the conservation of wild chinchillas. |
