Tato práce zkoumá možnosti využití lean managementu k podpoře udržitelnosti ve vysokoškolských institucích v ČR. Navazuje na model Kleina et al. (2022) a ověřuje jeho uplatnitelnost v lokálním kontextu. Výzkum je pojat jako pilotní studie s cílem otevřít diskusi. Dotazníkové šetření ukazuje pozitivní vliv lean praktik na environmentální, ekonomickou a sociální dimenzi udržitelnosti. Výsledky naznačují vhodnost přizpůsobení lean přístupů specifikům českých institucí. Práce kvůli malému vzorku a explorativnímu přístupu neformuluje obecné závěry, ale naznačuje směry dalšího výzkumu a potřebu při-způsobení lean přístupů českému prostředí. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis explores the potential of applying lean management to support sustainability in higher education institutions in the Czech Republic. It builds on the model developed by Klein et al. (2022) and examines its applicability in the local context. The research is designed as a pilot study with the aim of initiating discussion. The questionnaire survey indicates a positive impact of lean practices on the environmental, economic, and social dimensions of sustainability. The findings suggest that lean approaches can be suitably adapted to the specific characteristics of Czech institutions. Due to the small sample size and exploratory nature of the study, no general conclusions are drawn; however, the thesis highlights directions for further research and the need for contextual adaptation of lean methods to the Czech environment. |
