| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nejčastějšími chybami při sestavování SWOT ana-lýzy v kvalifikačních pracích na Fakultě managementu VŠE. Cílem bylo zhodnotit, jakým způsobem je tento nástroj využíván a jaké nedostatky se při jeho zpracování objevují. Pomocí kvalitativní obsahové analýzy bylo analyzováno 103 prací, přičemž se ukázalo, že mezi nejčastější chyby patří nedoložení analytických podkladů, ab-sence kvantitativního hodnocení faktorů, nesprávné zařazení prvků do kvadrantů a neúměrné množství uvedených faktorů. Práce dále ukazuje, že hodnotitelé – ve-doucí a oponenti – na tyto nedostatky ne vždy reagují jednotně, což potvrdila i pro-vedená statistická analýza. Zjištění práce mohou přispět ke zpřesnění metodického vedení studentů při zpracování SWOT analýz a ke zlepšení jejich uplatnění v aka-demickém i praktickém prostředí. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the most common mistakes in SWOT analysis in qualification papers at the Faculty of Management of the University of Economics. The aim was to evaluate how this tool is used and what shortcomings occur in its preparation. Using qualitative content analysis, 103 papers were analyzed, and it turned out that the most common errors include failure to provide analytical background, ab-sentation of quantitative evaluation of factors, incorrect classification of elements into quadrants and a disproportionate number of factors listed. The paper further shows that evaluators - thesis leaders and opponents - do not always respond to these shortcomings in a consistent manner, as confirmed by the statistical analysis performed. The findings of the thesis can contribute to the refinement of methodological guidance of students in the preparation of SWOT analyses and to the improvement of their application in the aca-demic and practical environment. |
