Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou úmrtnosti v Ústeckém kraji v porovnání s celkovou situací v České republice v období od roku 2012 do roku 2023. Hlavním zdrojem dat o úmrtnosti jsou datové soubory z Demografických ročenek České republiky a krajů od Českého statistického úřadu. Analýza využívá demografické ukazatele jako jsou věkově specifické míry úmrtnosti, standardizovaná úmrtnost a rozdělení úmrtnosti podle příčin úmrtí MKN-10. Sledovány jsou rozdíly podle pohlaví a věku, zvláštní pozornost je věnována změnám během pandemie COVID-19. Práce si klade za cíl zhodnocení rozdílů v úmrtnosti a uvedení možných faktorů, které se na těchto rozdílech podílejí. Zjištěné výsledky potvrzují, že Ústecký kraj vykazuje ve většině ukazatelů vyšší úmrtnost než celorepublikový průměr, a to napříč věkovými skupinami i u většiny hlavních příčin úmrtí. Práce tak přispívá k lepšímu pochopení regionálních nerovností ve zdravotním stavu populace a může sloužit jako podklad pro cílená opatření v oblasti veřejného zdraví. |

| Abstract: |
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of mortality in the Ústí nad Labem region in comparison with the overall situation in the Czech Republic in the period from 2012 to 2023. The main source of mortality data consists of datasets from the Demographic Yearbooks of the Czech Republic and its regions published by the Czech Statistical Office. The analysis uses demographic indicators such as age-specific mortality rates, standardized mortality, and the distribution of deaths by cause. Differences by sex and age are monitored, with special attention paid to changes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the thesis is to assess the differences in mortality and to identify possible factors contributing to these disparities. The findings confirm that the Ústí nad Labem Region shows higher mortality than the national average in most indicators, across age groups and the majority of major causes of death. The thesis thus contributes to a better understanding of regional inequalities in the health status of the population and may serve as a basis for targeted measures in the field of public health. |
