| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá vývojem indukované potratovosti ve Finsku, Německu, Rumunsku a Francii v období mezi lety 1990 a 2022. Demografické indikátory, jimiž je vývoj potratovosti kvantifikován, zahrnují specifické a obecné míry potratovosti, úhrnnou míru potratovosti, index potratovosti a syntetický indikátor „úhrnné míry těhotenství“, který zobrazuje podíl potratů a živých narození na těhotenstvích, kterými si ve svém reprodukčním období projde průměrná žena v dané populaci. Získané hodnoty pro vybrané země jsou dále srovnány, ve vhodných případech je také provedena standardizace dle standardní populace EU. Kromě definic a výpočtů zmíněných indikátorů práce zahrnuje stručnou demografickou charakteristiku vybraných zemí, přehled jejich populační a legislativní historie, která má s jevem potratovosti přímou souvislost, vybudování teoretického aparátu na základě současného výzkumu v daných oblastech a hrubou prognózu vývoje specifických měr potratovosti, která je zde provedena aplikací Lee-Carter projekční metody. |

| Abstract: | This thesis examines the evolution of the induced abortion rate in Finland, Germany, Romania and France between 1990 and 2022. Demographic indicators used to quantify the changes to the abortion rate include specific and general abortion rates, the total abortion rate, the abortion rate index and the synthetic indicator of ‘total pregnancy rate’, which shows the proportion of abortions and live births in pregnancies that the average woman in a given population will experience in her reproductive period. The values obtained for the selected countries are further compared and, where appropriate, standardized according to the standard EU population. In addition to the definitions and calculations of the indicators mentioned above, the thesis includes a brief demographic characterization of the selected countries, an overview of their population and legislative history, which is directly related to the abortion phenomenon, the delineation of theoretical approaches based on current research in the areas concerned and a rough prognosis of the evolution of specific abortion rates, which is carried out using the Lee-Carter projection method. |
