| Abstract: |
Diplomová práce se zabývá oblastí přístupnosti webových stránek u vybraných vysokých škol. Práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku jednotlivých skupin uživatelů webových stránek včetně zhodnocení současného stavu webové přístupnosti v kontextu požadavků uživatelů se specifickými potřebami. Obsahem práce je také návrh strategií a doporučení vedoucí k optimalizaci webové přístupnosti internetových portálů vysokých škol. V úvodu práce jsou definovány základní přístupy a požadavky k tvorbě přístupných webových stránek, zahrnující jednotlivé standardy. Dále jsou popsány jednotlivé metody a nástroje pro testování a kontrolu webové přístupnosti. V rámci této části je také charakterizována oblast uživatelů se specifickými potřebami včetně využívaných kompenzačních pomůcek pro práci s počítačem a webovými rozhraními. Praktická část práce je věnována porovnání přístupnosti webových stránek pěti vybraných vysokých škol na území České republiky. Konkrétně byly analyzovány stránky Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze, Masarykovy univerzity v Brně, České zemědělské univerzity v Praze, Vysokého učení technického v Brně a Technické univerzity v Liberci. Výsledky šetření jsou vyhodnoceny a následně prezentovány s důrazem na zlepšení přístupnosti a uživatelského zážitku (UX) pro osoby se specifickými potřebami. Závěr práce je zaměřen na doporučení pro optimalizaci přístupnosti webových stránek oslovených vysokých škol, která jsou koncipována v souladu s principy UX designu a jsou přizpůsobena specifickým potřebám akademického prostředí. |

| Abstract: |
The thesis focuses on the accessibility of websites at selected universities. It examines on the characteristics of various user groups of websites, including an evaluation of the current state of web accessibility in the context of the needs of users with specific requirements. The content of the thesis also includes strategies and recommendations aimed at optimizing the accessibility of university web portals. The introduction defines the fundamental approaches and requirements for creating accessible websites, including the relevant standards. It also describes the various methods and tools for testing and evaluating web accessibility. This section further characterizes the target group of users with specific needs, including the compensatory aids used for working with computers and web interfaces. The practical part of the thesis is dedicated to comparing the accessibility of the websites of five selected universities located in the Czech Republic. Specifically, the websites of the Prague University of Economics and Business, Masaryk University in Brno, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Brno University of Technology, and the Technical University of Liberec were analyzed. The survey results are evaluated and presented with an emphasis on improving accessibility and user experience (UX) for individuals with specific needs. The conclusion presents recommendations for optimizing the accessibility of the websites of the surveyed universities. These recommendations are aligned with UX design principles and are tailored to the specific needs of the academic environment. |
