Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem design systému pro online katalog knihovny Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze. První část práce se opírá o principy UX a UI designu, strukturu design systému, přístupnost, typografii a barevnost. Další část se věnuje analýze stávajícího rozhraní online katalogu knihovny VŠE, uživatelskému výzkumu a srovnání s jinými katalogy. Na základě této analýzy byly identifikovány problematické oblasti současného designu. V návaznosti na tato zjištění je navržen design systém, který zohledňuje technická omezení i potřeby uživatelů knihovny. Závěrečná část práce představuje návrh prototypu desktopového a mobilního rozhraní katalogu, který vizualizuje aplikaci design systému. Cílem návrhu je zlepšit uživatelskou zkušenost, snížit kognitivní zátěž a zvýšit přístupnost pro různé skupiny uživatelů. Navržený systém tvoří základ pro budoucí rozvoj a iterativní vylepšování rozhraní katalogu knihovny VŠE. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis focuses on the creation of a design system for the online library catalogue of the Prague University of Economics and Business. The first part of the thesis draws on principles of UX and UI design, the structure of design systems, accessibility, typography, and colour schemes. The following section analyses the current interface of the online catalogue, presents user research, and includes comparisons with other library catalogues. Based on this analysis, problematic areas in the existing design are identified. In response to these findings, a design system is proposed that takes into account both technical limitations and the needs of the library's users. The final part of the thesis presents a prototype of the desktop and mobile interfaces, demonstrating the application of the proposed design system. The aim of the design is to improve the user experience, reduce cognitive load, and enhance accessibility for a variety of user groups. The proposed system serves as a foundation for the future development and iterative refinement of the library catalogue interface at the Prague University of Economics and Business. |
