Project of expanding architectural reporting within a utility company

The diploma thesis focuses on the project of expanding architectural reporting within a utility company. The diploma thesis aims to propose an expansion of enterprise architecture reporting based on an evaluation of the current needs of the innogy company, including the implementation of individual reports that will contribute to better decisionmaking and more effective management of the IT environment. The thesis is divided into two main parts that complement each other. The first part focuses on the theoretical foundations of enterprise architecture and reporting. Specifically, it addresses the definition of enterprise architecture, its value to the organization, content and tools, the typical architecture of the business intelligence environment, and the needs of enterprise architecture stakeholders. The second part takes the form of a case study based on the innogy company environment. It contains the definition of the case study, the definition of research questions, the methodology and data sources used, the analysis of the current state of reporting in the company, the design and implementation of the reporting extension, and the final evaluation. The output of this part is the design and implementation of the enterprise architecture reporting extension in the company innogy. At the end of the thesis, the author comments on whether the goal was achieved and what other possible benefits of the diploma thesis are.
