Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou výdejních boxů společnosti PPL a strategií jejich rozmístění na území města Hradec Králové. V teoretické části práce je nejprve představen koncept e-commerce a logistického řetězce se zaměřením na logistiku poslední míle společně s popisem fungování výdejních boxů. Dále je představena společnost PPL a konkurenční kontext výdejních boxů v České republice. Praktická část práce obsahuje dotazníkové šetření zaměřené na spotřebitelské preference při výběru výdejního místa. Výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu jsou doplněny o geografickou analýzu současného rozmístění parcelboxů PPL v Hradci Králové v porovnání se Z-BOXy. Na základě zjištěných dat byla navržena doporučení pro optimalizaci sítě parcelboxů PPL s ohledem na lokální podmínky, způsob dopravy i demografické charakteristiky zákazníků. Výsledky práce mohou sloužit jako podklad pro další strategické rozhodování společnosti PPL v oblasti rozvoje infrastruktury parcelboxů. |

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of PPL's parcel lockers and their distribution strategy within the city of Hradec Králové. The theoretical part first introduces the concept of e-commerce and the logistics chain with a focus on last mile delivery, along with a description of the functioning of parcel lockers. Furthermore, the company PPL is presented alongside the competitive context of parcel lockers in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis consists of a questionnaire survey focused on consumer preferences in selecting a pickup location. The results of the quantitative research are complemented by a geographic analysis of the current distribution of PPL's parcel lockers in Hradec Králové in comparison with Z- BOXes. Based on the collected data, recommendations for optimizing the PPL parcel locker network have been proposed, taking into account local conditions, transportation methods, and the demographic characteristics of customers. The findings of this thesis will serve as a basis for further strategic decision-making by PPL in the development of its pickup infrastructure. |
