| Abstract: | Náplní této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat důvody a charakteristiky virálnosti u příspěvků na sociální sítí Facebook. První část práce se zabývá teoretickým popisem základů fungování sociálních sítí a popisem, jak algoritmy ovlivňují virální příspěvky. V další části se popisují rizika spojená s dezinformacemi a jejich důsledky pro společnost. V praktické části byla získávána data z facebookových skupin pomocí web scrapingu a následně statisticky analyzovaná pomocí korelace a lineární regrese. Výsledky analýzy ukázaly základní charakteristiky virálních příspěvků. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to investigate the reasons and characteristics of virality in Facebook posts. The first part of the thesis deals with a theoretical description of the basics of social networking and how algorithms affect viral posts. The next part describes the risks associated with misinformation and its consequences for society. In the practical part, data was collected from Facebook groups using web scraping and then statistically analysed using correlation and linear regression. The results of the analysis showed the basic characteristics of viral posts. |
