Tato práce se zabývá zkoumáním historického vývoje amerického filmového plakátu a návrhem autorské série plakátů, které byly inspirovány estetikou různých plakátových epoch. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením koncepce plakátu a definováním jeho základních prvků. Dále se zabývá vývojem amerického filmového plakátu, historickým kontextem a charakteristikami společnými pro určité epochy. Praktická část zahrnuje návrh série plakátů k vybraným filmům, přičemž každý z nich je ve vizuálním stylu určité doby odlišné od doby vzniku samotného filmu. Tímto způsobem je demonstrován kontrast mezi vizuálními technikami různých historických epoch. Vytvořené plakáty byly následně podrobeny odbornému hodnocení. Na základě poznatků z teoretické části a provedené analýzy v části praktické byla zpracována infografika, která shrnuje jednotlivé epochy a jejich charakteristické rysy. Práce je zaměřena na pochopení logiky a filozofie filmového plakátu a může sloužit také jako inspirační materiál pro studenty grafického designu a profesionály pracující v oblasti vizuální komunikace. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis explores the historical development of the American movie poster and designs an original series of posters inspired by the aesthetics of different poster eras. The theoretical part deals with explaining the concept of the poster and defining its basic elements. It also discusses the evolution of the American movie poster, the historical context and characteristics common to certain eras. The practical part involves the design of a series of posters for selected films, each in a visual style of a particular era distinct from that of the film itself. In this way, the contrast between the visual techniques of different historical eras is demonstrated. The created posters were then subjected to an expert evaluation. Based on the findings from the theoretical part and the analysis carried out in the practical part, an infographic summarising the different epochs and their characteristic features was prepared. The work is aimed at understanding the logic and philosophy of the film poster and can also serve as an inspirational material for graphic design students and professionals working in the field of visual communication. |
