| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na popis současného stavu Svatojakubských stezek v České republice. Cílem práce je pochopit jejich význam, rozvojové faktory a výzvy, kterým čelí. V teoretické části se práce soustředí na kulturní a náboženský turismus, přičemž se zaměřuje i na historický a současný stav Svatojakubské poutní cesty. Empirická část využívá kvalitativní a kvantitativní výzkum, který zahrnuje dotazníkové šetření a hloubkové rozhovory s respondenty ze spolku Ultreia. Výzkum ukazuje, že klíčovým problémem je nedostatek dostupného ubytování pro poutníky a nízká informovanost o stezkách. Dále ukazuje na potřebu lepšího zajištění systematické finanční podpory a rozvoje infrastruktury, aby se zvýšil zájem o Svatojakubské stezky v ČR. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on describing the current state of the Camino de Santiago routes in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to understand their significance, developmental factors, and the challenges they face. The theoretical part of the work focuses on cultural and religious tourism, while also addressing the historical and current state of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. The empirical part uses qualitative and quantitative research, which includes a survey and in-depth interviews with respondents from the Ultreia association. The research shows that the key issue is the lack of available accommodation for pilgrims and low awareness of the routes. It further highlights the need for better systematic financial support and infrastructure development in order to increase interest in the Camino de Santiago routes in the Czech Republic. |
