Prostorová analýza násilné kriminality na území hlavního města Prahy je zaměřena na ověření dvou hypotéz inspirovaných studií autorů Du a Law (2022): zda vyšší podíl vegetace snižuje kriminalitu a zda městská infrastruktura, konkrétně hustota zastávek MHD, s kriminalitou naopak souvisí pozitivně. Analýza vychází z dat Policie ČR za období 2016–2025, která byla prostorově agregována do Voronoi polygonů. Statistické modelování bylo provedeno pomocí Poissonova, negativně binomického a Bayesovského CAR modelu. Výsledky ukazují, že vegetace má statisticky významný negativní vliv na výskyt kriminality, zatímco dopravní dostupnost, hustota obyvatel a restaurační zařízení vykazují vliv pozitivní. Zjištěné poznatky mohou být využity při plánování městského prostoru a tvorbě preventivních opatření v oblasti veřejné bezpečnosti. |

The spatial analysis of violent crime in the city of Prague focuses on testing two hypotheses inspired by the work of Du and Law (2022): whether a higher proportion of vegetation reduces crime, and whether urban infrastructure, specifically the density of public transport stops, is positively associated with crime. The analysis is based on data from the Czech Police covering the period 2016–2025, spatially aggregated into Voronoi polygons. Statistical modelling was conducted using Poisson, negative binomial, and Bayesian CAR models. The results show that vegetation has a statistically significant negative effect on crime incidence, while public transport accessibility, population density, and the presence of restaurants show a positive association. The findings may be used in urban planning and in designing crime prevention strategies related to public safety. |
