Tato bakalářská se věnuje tématu automatizace vybraných úloh v Tableau a Metabase. Jejím obsahem je návrh a implementace automatizace správy analytických reportů pro e-commerce společnost. Práce pokrývá oblasti od přípravy business zadání, přes analýzu, vývoj, až po nasazení do produkce. Prostředkem automatizace jsou API zmíněných nástrojů a příslušné metody pro interakci s jejich rozhraním. Na základě daného zadání, rešerše literatury a dokumentací byl v rámci analýzy navržen přístup k řešení zadaných úloh. Společně s tím byl sestaven logický postup provádění identifikovaných akcí. K vývoji automatizačních řešení byly využity Python skripty. Výsledným přínosem je odstranění potřeby časově náročné manuální správy v reportingovém oddělení dané společnosti. Součástí práce je také příručka pro automatizaci reportingu, která bude sloužit zaměstnancům společnosti jako manuál pro automatizaci obdobných úloh. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of automation of selected tasks in Tableau and Metabase. Its content is the design and implementation of automation of analytics report management for e-commerce company. The thesis covers the areas from the preparation of the business assignment, through analysis, development, and deployment to production. The means of automation are the APIs of the mentioned tools and the corresponding methods for interacting with their interfaces. Based on the given assignment, literature search and documentation, the analysis proposed an approach to solve the given tasks. Together with this, a logical procedure for the execution of the identified actions was drawn up. Python scripts were used to develop the automation solutions. The resulting contribution is the elimination of the need for time-consuming manual administration in the reporting department of a given company. The work also includes a reporting automation manual that will serve as a guide for the company's employees to automate similar tasks. |
