| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá současnými podobami masopustních slavností ve třech jihočeských lokalitách – Milevsku, Sepekově a Nových Dvorech. Věnuje se popisu podoby a průběhu těchto slavností i jejich vývoji a významu v kontextu lokálních kulturních tradic. Cílem práce je analyzovat tyto slavnosti z pohledu zapojených aktérů, se zaměřením na rozdíly v organizaci, vývoj v čase, význam pro místní komunitu, roli veřejné správy a faktory ovlivňující jejich udržitelnost a budoucnost. Kvalitativní výzkum vychází ze zúčastněného pozorování a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s organizátory, členy spolků, zástupci samosprávy i dalšími aktivními účastníky. Na základě získaných poznatků je možné porovnat tři odlišné podoby masopustních slavností z hlediska jejich organizace, průběhu, vztahu ke komunitě, roli veřejné správy i míry udržitelnosti. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on the contemporary forms of carnival (Masopust) celebrations in three South Bohemian localities – Milevsko, Sepekov and Nové Dvory. It focuses on describing the form and course of these events, as well as exploring their development and significance in the context of local cultural traditions. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the celebrations from the perspective of involved participants, with a focus on differences in organization, historical development, importance for the local community, the role of public administration, and factors influencing their sustainability and future. The qualitative research is based on participant observation and semi-structured interviews with organizers, local association members, representatives of local government, and other active participants. Based on the findings, it is possible to compare three distinct forms of carnival celebrations in terms of their organization, course, relationship with the local community, the role of public administration, and their level of sustainability. |
