Analysis of the Kruhy project organised for first-year FIS students at VŠE

This bachelor's thesis analyses the Kruhy project, which was organised for first-year students at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics. The aim of the thesis is to describe in detail the functioning of the project within the academic year, i.e., to determine its time and financial requirements, to specify the individual activities, and to define the course. The result is a comprehensive guide to the project organisation for the upcoming years. Microsoft Project software is used for the analyses, in which the MPM method is applied and the course of the project, its stages, sub-stages and sub-activities, including their continuities, are visualised by means of a Gantt chart. The project is further analysed in terms of time course using two additional scenarios. The work also includes an overview of the use of human, material and financial resources, from which the individual costs are structured according to different breakdown methods. The project's risks are identified by means of a SWOT analysis and subsequently evaluated using a risk matrix. The multi-criteria variance assessment method approximates the process of assigning stipends to the volunteers involved in the implementation of the project. Finally, the project's overall success within the academic year 2024/2025 is evaluated. The project Kruhy represents an essential part of the activities of the 4FIS association, which is now in its seventh year of helping students to cope with the adaptation to the university environment.
