| Abstract: |
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na využití nástroje Power BI pro podporu řízení a monitorování projektů v prostředí informačních technologií. Cílem je analyzovat aktuální trendy v oblasti projektového řízení, stanovit požadavky na efektivní řízení IT projektů s využitím vizualizačních nástrojů a navrhnout pilotní řešení dashboardu v Power BI pro sledování klíčových projektových ukazatelů, které reflektuje nejčastější potřeby projektových manažerů. Teoretická část práce se věnuje základům projektového řízení v oblasti IT, jeho vývoji, současným trendům a nejčastěji využívaným metodikám. Pozornost je rovněž věnována specifikům IT projektů, faktorům ovlivňujících jejich úspěšnost a nástrojům určeným pro jejich efektivní řízení. V empirické části je analyzováno využití Power BI v oblasti projektového managementu a následně navržena a implementována šablona dashboardu pro vizualizaci klíčových projektových metrik. Přínos práce spočívá v provedení podrobné analýzy možností využití nástroje Power BI při řízení IT projektů. Navržený dashboard slouží jako praktická ukázka efektivní vizualizace projektových ukazatelů, která napomáhá jejich přehlednému sledování a podporuje řízení projektů v IT prostředí. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the use of Power BI as a tool to support the management and monitoring of projects in the field of information technology. The aim is to analyze current trends in project management, define the requirements for effective management of IT projects using visualization tools, and propose a pilot dashboard solution in Power BI for tracking key project indicators that reflect the most common needs of project managers. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses the foundations of project management in IT, including its historical development, current trends, and widely used methodologies. It also examines the specifics of IT projects, the factors influencing their success, and the tools used for their effective management. The empirical part analyzes the use of Power BI in project management and presents the design and implementation of a dashboard template for visualizing key project metrics. The contribution of this thesis lies in a detailed analysis of the Power BI tool and its application in IT project management. The proposed dashboard serves as a practical example of how to effectively visualize key project indicators, facilitate their monitoring, and support more efficient management in the IT environment. |
