| Abstract: | Táto bakalářská práce zkoumá klíčové aspekty udržitelné dopravy, včetně environmentálních, sociálních a ekonomických dopadů, a také stávající výzvy a příležitosti pro zlepšení dopravních systémů. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat a porovnat udržitelnou městskou dopravu v kontextu dvou megaměst, Prahy a Petrohradu. K dosažení cílů jsou použity metody srovnávací analýzy, průzkumů a studie stávajících dopravních strategií. Dokument poskytuje doporučení pro realizaci krátkodobých, střednědobých a dlouhodobých iniciativ v oblasti udržitelné městské dopravy, s ohledem na specifika každé ze studovaných oblastí. Závěr shrnuje účinnost realizovaných iniciativ a perspektivy dalšího zlepšování dopravního systému. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines key aspects of sustainable transport, including environmental, social and economic impacts, as well as existing challenges and opportunities for improving transport systems. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse and compare sustainable urban transport in the context of two megacities, Prague and St. Petersburg. To achieve the objectives, comparative analysis, surveys and studies of existing transport strategies are used. The paper provides recommendations for the implementation of short-, medium- and long-term sustainable urban transport initiatives, taking into account the specificities of each of the study areas. The conclusion summarises the effectiveness of the implemented initiatives and the perspectives for further improvement of the transport system. |
