| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na roli Klubu Za starou Prahu v ochraně poválečné architektury v Praze. Cílem práce je analyzovat strategie, které Klub uplatnil v konkrétních památkových kauzách – areál Transgas, budovy Sdružení projektových ateliérů (tzv. Pragerovy kostky) a obchodní dům Kotva – a zhodnotit jejich dopad na architektonickou krajinu města. Práce zkoumá, jak se Klub vyvinul z pasivního protestního hnutí na aktivní kulturní instituci, která se podílí na formování budoucí podoby městského prostoru. Výzkum je založen na kvalitativní analýze odborné literatury, historických pramenů a dobových dokumentů, doplněné o polostrukturovaný rozhovor s historičkou architektury a členkou Klubu Veronikou Vicherkovou, který přináší cenný pohled na problematiku ochrany poválečné architektury. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on the role of the Society For Old Prague in the preservation of post-war architecture in Prague. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the strategies applied by the Society in specific heritage cases – the Transgas complex, the buildings of the Sdružení projektových ateliérů and the Kotva department store – and to evaluate their impact on the architectural landscape of the city. The thesis examines how the Society has evolved from a passive protest movement to an active cultural institution involved in shaping the future form of urban space. The research is based on a qualitative analysis of literature, historical sources and contemporary documents, supplemented by a semi-structured interview with architectural historian and Society member Veronika Vicherková, which provides a valuable insight into the issue of post-war architectural preservation. |
