Bakalářská práce s názvem „Od subkultury k dědictví UNESCO: techno jako symbol kulturní identity města Berlín“ si klade za cíl prozkoumat, jakým způsobem berlínská techno scéna ovlivňuje identitu města. Metodika zahrnuje kvalitativní výzkum, provedený pomocí hloubkových rozhovorů s aktéry berlínské techno scény, doplněný teoretickou analýzou. Výsledky ukazují, že techno mělo významný vliv na znovusjednocení Berlína tím, že vytvořilo neutrální prostory pro interakci. Scéna se vyvinula ze spontánních, improvizovaných akcí do profesionálních klubů, ale i přes globalizaci si zachovává subkulturní charakter definovaný hodnotami jako komunita a svoboda projevu. Mezi klíčové výzvy patří gentrifikace a řízení dopadu turismu, který je částečně řešen přísnými pravidly pro vstup do klubů. Status UNESCO je vítaným symbolickým uznáním, ale jeho praktická ochrana před ekonomickým tlakem je zpochybňována. Práce dochází k závěru, že berlínská techno kultura zůstává důležitou subkulturní silou, která hluboce formuje identitu města. |

The bachelor thesis entitled "From Subculture to UNESCO Heritage: Berlin Techno as a Symbol of the City's Cultural Identity" aims to explore how the Berlin techno scene influences the city's identity. The methodology includes qualitative research conducted through in-depth interviews with actors from the Berlin techno scene, supplemented by theoretical analysis. The results show that techno had a significant impact on the reunification of Berlin by creating neutral spaces for interaction. The scene evolved from spontaneous, improvised events to professional clubs, but despite globalization, it retains its subcultural character defined by values such as community and freedom of expression. Key challenges include gentrification and managing the impact of tourism, which is partly addressed by strict rules for club entry. UNESCO status is a welcome symbolic recognition, but its practical protection from economic pressure is being questioned. The work concludes that Berlin's techno culture remains an important subcultural force that deeply shapes the city's identity. |
