| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na kariérní plány a ambice studentek bakalářského studia Fakulty podnikohospodářské na Vysoké škole ekonomické v Praze. Práce identifikuje hlavní faktory ovlivňující kariérní rozhodování studentek, včetně vlivu genderových stereotypů, work-life balance a mateřství. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy, které souvisí s kariérními ambicemi studentek, analyzuje charakteristiky Generace Z, jejího očekávání od pracovního trhu a zkoumá také vliv mateřství na kariérní dráhu studentek. Výzkum byl proveden pomocí kvantitativní metody online dotazníkového šetření, kterého se zúčastnilo 66 studentek. Výsledky ukazují, že pro mladé ženy je vysoce důležitá rovnováha mezi pracovním a osobním životem, spolu s finančním ohodnocením a smysluplností práce. Přestože jsou studentky vzdělané a ambiciózní, stále čelí překážkám v podobě genderových stereotypů a obavám z nezvládnutí skloubit rodinu a kariérní dráhu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the career plans and ambitions of female undergraduate students at the Faculty of Business Administration at the Prague University of Economics. The thesis identifies the main factors influencing female students’ career decisions, including the impact of gender stereotypes, work-life balance, and motherhood. The theoretical part defines basic concepts related to female students’ career ambitions, analyzes the characteristics of Generation Z, their expectations from the labor market, and also examines the influence of motherhood on female students’ career paths. The research was conducted using a quantitative method of online questionnaire survey, in which 66 female students participated. The results show that for young women, the balance between work and personal life is highly important, along with financial compensation and meaningful work. Although female students are educated and ambitious, they still face obstacles in the form of gender stereotypes and concerns about not being able to balance family and career. |
