| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zajímá o způsoby, jakými začínající umělci v českém filmovém průmyslu zamýšlí realizovat svou kariéru. Teoretická část práce s oporou o Bourdieuovu teorii kapitálu nahlíží uvažování a jednání aktérů v kultuře jako specifickou formu ekonomické činnosti. V rámci výzkumné části byly u začínajících filmařů metodou tematické analýzy identifikovány dva druhy strategií lišící se především ve vztahu k zvládání profesní nejistoty. Výsledky byly uvedeny do souvislosti se zjištěními jiných autorů a interpretovány. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is focused on how emerging artists in the Czech film industry intend to pursue their careers. The theoretical part of the thesis, supported by Bourdieu's theory of capital, considers the thinking and behaviour of those involved in culture as a specific form of economic activity. Within the research part, two types of strategies were identified among emerging filmmakers through thematic analysis, differing mainly in relation to coping with professional insecurity. The results were put into context with the findings of other authors and interpreted. |
