Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá empirickým ověřením platnosti Phillipsovy křivky v zemích střední a východní Evropy v letech 2000-2024, konkrétně v Bulharsku, Polsku, České republice, Rumunsku a Maďarsku. Pomocí regresní analýzy na kvartálních datech je analyzován vztah mezi inflací a nezaměstnaností, přičemž jsou zohledněny i další proměnné jako produkční mezera, ceny energií a úroková míra. Výsledky ukazují, že platnost Phillipsovy křivky se v jednotlivých zemích liší a je výrazně ovlivněna krizovými událostmi, jako je finanční krize roku 2008 a pandemie COVID-19. Přidanou hodnotou práce je srovnávací analýza pěti zemí CEE v dlouhém časovém období s důrazem na vliv krizových událostí a fungování Phillipsova mechanismu. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor thesis deals with the empirical validation of the Phillips curve in Central and Eastern European countries in the period 2000-2024, namely Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary. Using regression models and quarterly data, the relationship between Inflation and unemployment is analysed, considering other variables such as the output gap, energy prices and interest rate. The result show that the validity of the Phillips curve varies across countries and is strongly influenced by crisis events such as the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID19 pandemic. The added value of the paper is the comparative analysis of five CEE countries over a long time with an emphasis on the impact of crisis events and the functioning of the Phillips mechanism. |
