| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit přínos rodiny Liebiegových pro sociální, hospodářský a urbanistický rozvoj města Liberce. Práce se zaměřuje na jejich podnikatelské a filantropické aktivity, které v mnoha ohledech předznamenaly moderní pojetí společenské odpovědnosti firem. Na základě archivních pramenů, dochovaných dopisů, novinových výstřižků a literární rešerše je zpracována případová studie, která mapuje konkrétní formy podpory, jež Liebiegovi poskytovali, od nadační činnosti, přes zajištění bydlení, zdravotní péče a vzdělání až po podporu veřejné infrastruktury. Výzkum se opírá o kvalitativní analýzu dokumentů a historický kontext průmyslového rozvoje severních Čech v 19. a na počátku 20. století. Práce ukazuje, že rodina Liebiegových svými činy významně přispěla k rozvoji města a životních podmínek jeho obyvatel, a zároveň poskytuje základ pro srovnání s dnešním konceptem CSR. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the contribution of the Liebieg family to the social, economic, and urban development of the city of Liberec. The thesis focuses on their entrepreneurial and philanthropic activities, which in many aspects anticipated the modern concept of Corporate Social Responsibility. Based on archival sources, preserved correspondence, newspaper clippings, and a literature review, a case study is presented that maps specific forms of support provided by the Liebiegs, including foundations, employee housing, healthcare, education, and public infrastructure development. The research is based on qualitative analysis of historical documents and the industrial context of Northern Bohemia in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The thesis demonstrates that the Liebieg family significantly contributed to the growth of the city and the improvement of living conditions for its inhabitants, while also providing a framework for comparison with today’s CSR practices. |
