| Abstract: | Tato kvalifikační práce má za cíl analyzovat využití umělé inteligence (UI) v preprodukční fázi dokumentárního filmu z pohledu aktérů v oboru. Zkoumá reflexe možností, omezení a eticko-právních dopadů využití této technologie a formuluje doporučení. Výzkum je založen na kvalitativní interpretativní metodě s použitím semistrukturovaných rozhovorů se sedmi odborníky z oblasti dokumentární tvorby. Data byla podrobena tematické analýze dle kategorií praxe, postoje, vědění a zkušenost. Závěry ukazují, že UI nabízí potenciál jako užitečný nástroj nebo „konzultant“ (zejména v oblastech rešerše, textové přípravy a organizace), ale disponuje technickými limity (obzvláště halucinace a faktické nepřesnosti) a způsobuje právní a etická dilemata (zvláště v kontextu vytěžování dat, data mining, a autorských práv). Při užití UI v preprodukci dokumentárního filmu se jako klíčové faktory ukázaly lidská kontrola a kritické myšlení. Legislativa za akcelerovaným vývojem UI zaostává a pro odpovědnou praxi se zdůrazňuje potřeba edukace, diskuse a mezioborové spolupráce tematizující budoucnost. |

| Abstract: | This thesis analyses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the pre-production phase of documentary filmaking from the perspective of industry professionals. It explores AI's possibilities, limitations, and ethical-legal implications and offers recommendations. Based on semi-structured interviews with seven documentary experts, the research employs thematic analysis in practice, attitudes, knowledge, and experience categories. Findings suggest that AI can be a valuable tool, particularly in research, work with text and organization, but has limitations, including inaccuracies and ethical dilemmas related to data use and authors' rights. Key factors for its effective application include human oversight and critical thinking. The thesis highlights the need for educational initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration, as legislation struggles to keep pace with AI advancements. |
