| Abstract: | Cílem práce je na základě dat analyzovat rozložení a strukturu výrobního sektoru polovodičového průmyslu ve světě a konkrétně na Taiwanu, jaké jsou výrobní kapacity jednotlivých států a kontinentů, a jak jsou státy vzájemně provázány. Dílčím cílem je určit ekonomická východiska pro tuto provázanost a sílu jejich polovodičových průmyslů. Práce se také věnuje efektům schválených zákonných opatření a modeluje budoucí scénáře. Teoretická a praktická část směřuje k diskuzi výsledků v podobě predikcí a scénářové analýzy. V rámci praktické části jsou využité následující metody a postupy: deskriptivní analýza, komparativní metoda, analytická metoda, prediktivní analýza. Provedené analýzy prokazují nejen významnost samotného polovodičového odvětví, ale i Taiwanu pro světovou ekonomiku a dodavatelské řetězce. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis is to analyse the distribution and structure of the semiconductor manufacturing sector in the world and specifically in Taiwan, what are the production capacities of the different countries and continents, and how the countries are interconnected. A sub-objective is to determine the economic rationale for this interdependence and the strength of their semiconductor industries. The paper also examines the effects of the enacted legislative measures and models future scenarios. The theoretical and practical part is directed towards a discussion of the results in the form of predictions and scenario analysis. The following methods and procedures are used in the practical part: descriptive analysis, comparative method, analytical method, predictive analysis. The analyses performed demonstrate the importance of not only the semiconductor industry itself, but also Taiwan to the global economy and supply chains. |
