| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá ekologickou udržitelností malých hudebních festivalů s rozpočtem do 500 000 Kč v České republice. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak organizátoři těchto akcí přistupují k environmentálním otázkám, jaká konkrétní opatření zavádějí a jaké překážky jim v tom brání. Práce kombinuje kvantitativní výpočet uhlíkové stopy festivalu REPETE FEST s kvalitativní analýzou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s organizátory pěti dalších malých festivalů. Výsledky ukazují, že i bez formální strategie se organizátoři často snaží jednat udržitelně. Udržitelnost je v malých produkcích často spojena s osobním přesvědčením a komunitním charakterem akce. Práce nabízí doporučení, jak mohou malé festivaly ekologické principy lépe integrovat a upozorňuje na potřebu systémové podpory v této oblasti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the environmental sustainability of small music festivals with budgets up to CZK 500,000 in the Czech Republic. The aim is to explore how festival organizers address ecological issues, what specific measures they adopt, and what barriers they face. The research combines a quantitative carbon footprint calculation of REPETE FEST with a qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with organizers of five other small festivals. The findings show that even without a formal sustainability strategy, organizers often act responsibly. Environmental awareness in small productions is frequently linked to personal motivation and a strong community ethos. The thesis provides recommendations for how small festivals can integrate ecological principles more effectively and highlights the need for systemic support in this area. |
