| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na roli generativní umělé inteligence (AI) v rozhodovacím procesu manažerů a její vliv na informační přetížení. V kontextu rostoucího objemu dat a zvyšujících se nároků na rychlost rozhodování zkoumá, zda manažeři vnímají AI jako nástroj, který jim pomáhá zvládat informační přetížení, nebo naopak jako další zdroj nejistoty a zahlcení. Empirická část vychází z polo-strukturovaných rozhovorů s třinácti manažery jedné mezinárodní organizace. Výsledky naznačují, že AI je nejčastěji využívána jako asistent pro operativní úkoly a podporu orientace v informacích, avšak její přínos závisí na způsobu použití, kvalitě dotazování (promptování) a důvěře v její výstupy. Práce přináší vhled do subjektivního vnímání AI ze strany manažerů a nabízí doporučení pro efektivní využívání těchto nástrojů v praxi. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the decision-making process of managers and its impact on information overload. In the context of the growing volume of data and increasing demands for speed of decision-making, it examines whether managers perceive AI as a tool that helps them cope with information overload, or, conversely, as another source of uncertainty and overwhelm. The empirical part is based on semi-structured interviews with thirteen managers of an international organization. The results idnicate that AI is most often used as an assistant for operational tasks and support for orientation in information, but its benefit depends on the method of use, the quality of prompting and trust in its outputs. The thesis provides insight into the subjective perception of AI by managers and offers recommendations for the effective use of these tools in practice. |
