Cílem této práce je analyzovat vliv ceny emisních povolenek na ceny elektrické energie v České republice a Německu na datech z fáze 4 Evropského systému emisního obchodování. V teoretické části je rozebráno, jak fungují emisní povolenky a Evropský systém emisního obchodování. Dále je rozebrán mechanismus vlivu emisních povolenek na cenu elektrické energie, včetně vlivu energetických komodit, a jsou představeny studie zkoumající tento vztah. V empirické části je pomocí VAR modelu testován vliv cen emisních povolenek a cen energetických komodit na ceny elektrické energie. Výsledky práce ukazují, že vliv cen emisních povolenek a zemního plynu na ceny elektrické energie je statisticky významný. |

| Abstract: |
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of emission allowance prices on electricity prices in the Czech Republic and Germany using data from Phase 4 of the European Emissions Trading System. The theoretical part discusses the functioning of emission allowances and the EU Emissions Trading System. It also examines the mechanism through which emission allowances influence electricity prices, including the role of energy commodities, and presents studies investigating this relationship. In the empirical part, a VAR model is used to test the impact of emission allowance prices and energy commodity prices on electricity prices. The results indicate that the influence of emission allowance prices and natural gas prices on electricity prices is statistically significant. |
