| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá dopadem implementace ESG faktorů v českém bankovním sektoru, se zaměřením na investiční produkty a jejich vnímání mezi různými subjekty trhu. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny ESG aspekty, představeny klíčové regulatorní rámce EU, popsán fenomén greenwashingu a nabídka investičních produktů s ESG prvky. Analyzovány byly také ESG strategie tří vybraných bank. Praktická část zahrnuje dotazníková šetření mezi širokou a odbornou veřejností a komparativní analýzu výkonnosti ESG a tradičních penzijních fondů. Výsledky potvrdily, že veřejnost vnímá udržitelnost jako důležitou, ale často ji nezohledňuje v investování, odborníci chápou ESG regulaci spíše jako formální rámec a ESG fondy dosahují srovnatelných výnosů a nižší volatility oproti tradičním protějškům. Práce potvrzuje rostoucí význam ESG v českém prostředí, ale také přetrvávající výzvy. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the impact of the implementation of ESG factors in the Czech banking sector, focusing on investment products and their perception among various market entities. The theoretical part defines ESG aspects, introduces key EU regulatory frameworks, describes the phenomenon of greenwashing and the offer of investment products with ESG elements. The ESG strategies of three selected banks are also analysed. The practical part includes questionnaire surveys among the general and professional public and a comparative analysis of the performance of ESG and traditional pension funds. The results confirm that the public perceives sustainability as important but often does not consider it in investing, professionals see ESG regulation as more of a formal framework, and ESG funds achieve comparable returns and lower volatility compared to their traditional counterparts. The paper confirms the growing importance of ESG in the Czech environment, but also the challenges that remain. |
