Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl zhodnotit vliv islandské finanční krize 2008-2011 na excesivní vývoj kurzu islandské koruny a dále dopady krize na vybrané makroekonomické ukazatele a komparace vývoje kurzů vybraných měn a makroekonomických ukazatelů příslušných ekonomik. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První, teoretická část popisuje samotnou krizi a seznámí čtenáře s pojmy měnový kurz a systémy měnového kurzu. Druhá, aplikační část analyzuje vliv na makroekonomické ukazatele a provádí komparaci s jinými vybranými měnami. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor´s thesis aims to evaluate the impact of the Icelandic financial crisis (2008-2011) on the excessive fluctuations of the Icelandic króna (ISK) exchange rate and the crisis´s effects on selected macroeconomic indicators. Additionally, it conducts a comparative analysis of exchange rate developments and macroeconomic indicators across relevant economies. The thesis is structured into two parts. The theoretical part describes the crisis itself and introduces key concepts such as exchange rates and exchange rate systems. The application part analyzes the crisis´s impact on macroeconomic indicators and conducts a comparative study with other selected currencies. |
