| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na investování do zlata jako specifického investičního aktiva obchodovaného na finančních trzích, přičemž jsou analyzovány investiční vlastnosti zlata, je popsáno fungování globálního trhu zlata a rovněž je provedena identifikace hlavních faktorů ovlivňujících nabídku a poptávku po zlatě. Pozornost je rovněž věnována investičním strategiím a posouzení jejich historické efektivnosti z pohledu ochrany, zejména v prostředí vysoké nejistoty a nízkých reálných úrokových sazeb. |

It analyzes the investment characteristics of gold, describes the functioning of the global gold market, and identifies the main factors influencing the supply and demand for gold. Attention is also given to investment strategies and the assessment of their historical effectiveness, particularly in terms of capital protection in environments characterized by high uncertainty and low real interest rates. |
