| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku bankovního sektoru, jeho specifika a klíčové aspekty, které jej odlišují od ostatních odvětví národního hospodářství. Teoretická část se věnuje struktuře bankovního systému a formám jeho uspořádání, metodám finanční analýzy a nástrojům strategické analýzy. Tyto poznatky tvoří základ pro praktickou část práce, která analyzuje vybranou bankovní instituci z hlediska její finanční výkonnosti a strategického postavení. Součástí hodnocení je posouzení vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí banky, identifikace klíčových faktorů ovlivňujících její stabilitu a návrhy na možné směry dalšího vývoje. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the characteristics of the banking sector, its specific features, and key attributes that distinguish it from other sectors of the national economy. The theoretical part covers the structure and organization of the banking system, methods of financial analysis, and strategic analysis tools. These form the foundation for the practical part of the thesis, which examines a selected bank in terms of its financial performance and strategic position. The evaluation includes an assessment of both external and internal factors affecting the bank, identification of key drivers of its stability, and proposals for potential directions of future development. |
