| Abstract: | Udržitelnost a rovnost příležitostí představují v současné době aktuální a široce diskutovaná témata. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat finanční aspekty implementace ESG ve firmách. V teoretické části bude představena obecná charakteristika konceptu ESG, popsána relevantní legislativa a související směrnice Evropské unie, včetně jejich aktuálního stavu a časového rámce, ve kterém budou podniky povinny tyto normy dodržovat. Následně budou identifikovány benefity a rizika spojená s implementací ESG do podnikové praxe, s důrazem na jejich finanční dopady. Práce rovněž zahrnuje shrnutí výsledků výzkumu, jehož cílem je ověřit význam jednotlivých přínosů a rizik implementace ESG z pohledu praxe. |

| Abstract: | Sustainability and equal opportunities are currently highly relevant and widely discussed topics. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to analyse the financial aspects of ESG implementation in companies. The theoretical part introduces the general characteristics of the ESG concept and describes the relevant legislation and related European Union directives, including their current status and the timeline within which companies will be required to comply with these standards. Subsequently, the benefits and risks associated with the implementation of ESG into corporate practice will be identified, with emphasis on their financial impacts. The thesis also includes a summary of the research findings, which aim to verify the significance of individual benefits and risks of ESG implementation from a practical perspective. |
