| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje specifikům účetnictví a financování sportovních klubů působících jako neziskové organizace v České republice, se zaměřením na softball. Cílem práce je analyzovat strukturu financování, účetní metody a daňový režim těchto organizací, a to jak z teoretického, tak praktického hlediska. Teoretická část popisuje hlavní zdroje příjmů neziskových sportovních subjektů a jejich účetní a daňová specifika. Praktická část se opírá o účetní výkazy jednoho extraligového softbalového klubu a srovnání s dalšími kluby v nejvyšší soutěži. Analýza ukazuje, že klíčovým předpokladem udržitelnosti sportovních klubů je vícezdrojové financování, stabilní členská základna a schopnost přizpůsobit provozní náklady dostupným zdrojům. Specifika neziskového sektoru se projevují zejména v kolísání výsledků hospodaření okolo nuly a ve výrazné závislosti na veřejných dotacích. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the specifics of accounting and financing of sports clubs operating as non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic, with a focus on softball. The aim is to analyze their funding structure, accounting methods, and tax regime from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The theoretical part presents the main sources of income and outlines accounting and tax specifics applicable to non-profits. The practical part is based on the financial statements of one extraleague softball club and a comparative analysis of several other top-level clubs. The results indicate that long-term sustainability depends on diversified income sources, a stable membership base, and the ability to align operating costs with available resources. Non-profit specifics are reflected in the tendency to maintain a balanced budget over time and a high reliance on public funding. |
