| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá účetním systémem ve Velké Británii v kontextu harmonizace účetnictví. Teoretická část práce je věnována stručnému přehledu vývoje a zavedení nových UK GAAP, následně je popsán současný stav účetního systému Velké Británie. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na vybrané aspekty UK GAAP, konkrétně na změny v oblasti rozpoznávání výnosů podle úprav z let 2022 a 2024. Tyto změny jsou ilustrovány na modelovém příkladě se dvěma modifikacemi. Poslední kapitola práce obsahuje dodatek – paralelu s Českou republikou. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the accounting system in the United Kingdom in the context of harmonization of accounting. The theoretical part provides a brief overview of the development and implementation of the new UK GAAP, followed by a description of the current state of the UK accounting system. The practical part of the thesis is focused on selected aspects of UK GAAP, specifically changes in revenue recognition based on amendments from year 2022 and 2024. These changes are illustrated using a model example with two modifications. The final chapter of the thesis includes an addition presenting a parallel with Czech Republic. |
