| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou akciové společnosti Škoda Auto za roky 2019-2023 v kontextu současných ekonomických trendů. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první části se práce zaměřuje na analýzu vývojových trendů v automobilového průmyslu z pohledu podnikových financí. V praktické části jsou metody finanční analýzy aplikovány na finanční výkazy akciové společnosti Škoda Auto. Obsahem práce je externí finanční analýza, která vychází z veřejně dostupných výkazů společnosti. Cílem práce je vyhodnocení finančního zdraví společnosti s důrazem na zadluženost, likviditu a rentabilitu. Doplňujícím cílem je odhalení příčin změn klíčových ukazatelů výkonnosti a jejich porovnání s konkurencí. Pro zpracování práce a vyhodnocení finančního zdraví byla využita horizontální a vertikální analýza, poměrové ukazatele a klíčové ukazatele výkonnosti. Práce přináší globální pohled na finanční zdraví společnosti a automobilový trh v souvislosti s aktuálními ekonomickými trendy a upozorňuje na možné budoucí výzvy a změny v automobilovém průmyslu, které mohou společnost značně ovlivnit. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of the Škoda Auto stock company for the years 2019-2023 in the context of current economic trends. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, the thesis focuses on the analysis of development trends in the automotive industry from the perspective of corporate finance. In the practical part, the methods of financial analysis are applied to the financial statements of the joint-stock company Škoda Auto. The content of the thesis is an external financial analysis based on publicly available company statements. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company with emphasis on debt, liquidity and profitability. An additional objective is to uncover the causes of changes in key performance indicators and compare them with competitors. Horizontal and vertical analysis, ratios and key performance indicators were used to develop the thesis and evaluate financial health. The thesis provides a global perspective on the financial health of the company and the automotive market in the context of current economic trends and highlights potential future challenges and changes in the automotive industry that may significantly impact the company. |
